The Danville Town Council had its final meeting of the year this afternoon. The only thing of note was that Matt Ellison was appointed water superintendent.

The Danville Town Council unanimously voted to offer the position of water superintendent to Matt Ellison at their final meeting of the year on December 30, 2019. Ellison, who attended the meeting, stepped to the microphone and accepted the position. He said, “I do accept the position of water superintendent and I thank you very much. I look forward to what’s coming ahead.” Ellison replaces Jim Russel who retired in December after many years of service.
