Per our story “Laid to Rest?” in the Jan. 29 issue of the Hendricks County ICON regarding Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Services and Crematory’s rezone request of the historic church at Shiloh Crossing in Avon, the Hendricks County Commissioners – at their Jan. 26 meeting – continued the zoning change for JC. Wilson Company (working on behalf of Wilson St. Pierre). According to Wilson St Pierre’s attorney, Andy Kult, the commissioners asked that some of the other uses allowed in the Neighborhood Business district zoning, such as a brew pub, be stricken from the allowed uses for this specific rezone. It is expected that the board will revisit the issue at the next meeting at 9 a.m. on Feb. 9 at the Hendricks County Government Annex, 355 S. Washington St
