Two men arrested for armed robbery of Avon CVS pharmacy

Avon police arrested two men over the weekend for a suspected armed robbery of the CVS pharmacy at Dan Jones Road and U.S. 36.

Alleged suspects, 26-year-old David Melvin from Indianapolis and James Parrish, 30 years old, who has no listed address were charged with burglary with a deadly weapon and pointing a deadly firearm at another person.
They’re being held at the Hendricks County jail.
The Avon Police Department were called the pharmacy around 2 a.m. on Saturday.
They were able to locate the two suspects nearby. One was arrested immediately while the other ran off.
Police secured the area and located the second suspect, along with the getaway vehicle, according to the Avon Police Department.
Nobody was injured.
This comes after an armed robbery at the CVS in Brownsburg last week.
Police are looking into a possible connection.
