The Shops at Perry Crossing in Plainfield has added an indoor ice rink this winter.
The “iceless” synthetic rink, located in the Duke Energy Event Center above Bru Burger, is open during the weekends through the end of November only.
The spot is offering a mix of themes, DJ dance parties, family skate days, and character events.
“People have loved the atmosphere,” said Taryn Francissen, marketing coordinator for The Shops at Perry Crossing.
“The event space overlooks our 52’holiday tree, so it really lends itself to welcoming in the holiday season.”
Skate rental is available or you can bring your own. The entrance is behind Bru Burger. Skaters are asked to park in the Claddagh/Barnes and Noble parking lots.
The cost is $12. $10 if you bring your skates.
