Pedestrian dies after apparent early-morning hit-and-run in Avon
A Plainfield man was struck and killed this morning in Avon, according to the Hendricks County Sheriff’s Department.
Emanuel Charles Walker, Jr., 20, is believed to have been struck by a vehicle that was traveling westbound on County Road 100 S and County Road 625 E as he was standing at the road’s edge. He was was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
Investigators are looking for a Silver colored Saturn vehicle with front and passenger side damage. The vehicle may be missing a passenger side mirror.
