The Plainfield Police Department identified Monday that Troy Flanagan, 51, Plainfield, died Saturday morning as the result of an apartment fire at 245 N. Vine Street. The cause of the fire is still under investigation, PPD reported. Plainfield Fire Territory crews took the call at 4:39 a.m. and found fire from the roof; the fire was under control in 15 minutes. PFT was assisted by Brownsburg Fire Territory, Danville Fire Department, Washington Township/Avon Fire Department, Wayne Township Fire Department and Plainfield Police Department.
