A juvenile was found shot after Brownsburg Police responded to a “shots fired “call to Arbuckle Park at 5:03 p.m., Wednesday evening.
According to a press release posted on BPD’s Facebook page, once on the scene, officers were provided information on a possible suspect vehicle that was seen fleeing the area. Responding officers were able to locate and conduct a stop on what was believed to be the suspect vehicle.
Upon investigation, the vehicle in question was found to be occupied by multiple juveniles, with one juvenile male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was transported to the hospital and is undergoing treatment.
Crime scene investigators are working to process evidence and identify any witnesses. BPS stated that preliminary findings indicate that this was an isolated incident, and there is no current threat to the community at large. Anyone with information, should call BPD at (317) 852-1109, ext. 2123.
