Hendricks County has been selected to host the 2019 Indiana Tourism Conference. The event will be held at the new Embassy Suites Hotel and Conference Center that’s being constructed in Plainfield. The Indiana Tourism Association selected Hendricks County out of a handful of proposals to host the event. This will be the first time Central Indiana has hosted it in four years. The two-day conference should draw more than 300 tourism professionals from across the state. Construction of the seven-story upscale hotel situated nearby the Indianapolis International Airport began in April. Hendricks County tourism leaders are thrilled about the opportunity.
