Hendricks County deputies are investigating a deadly crash that happened around 4:30 a.m. on July 30.
It took place near the railroad bridge just south of C.R. 200 S. on C.R. 450 W.
Investigators say the driver, 60-year-old John McCarthy, Danville, was headed south on C.R. 450 W. when his SUV hit the railroad bridge and flipped over.
Around the same time, Danville Police received a welfare check for McCarthy.
Deputies say McCarthy was pronounced dead at the scene.
There is no word yet on the cause of the crash.
