Cross and Light musical comes to St. Malachy Feb. 23

St. Malachy Catholic Church in Brownsburg is hosting the critically-acclaimed musical “Cross and Light” with five shows running the weekend of Feb. 23-25. The multi-sensory experience of Christ’s Passion, Resurrection and the coming of the Holy Spirit is aimed to emotionally engage people in the story of Jesus.

“St. Malachy is humbled to bring this Broadway-caliber production to enrich our churches in the greater Hendricks County community. We feel those who attend will leave connected and energized in their faith,” said Jenny Zeunik, St. Malachy Community Outreach Coordinator.

The production is in its 7th season and first opened at Detroit’s Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament in 2011. The creator is Kelly Garver Nieto, a musician and artist (and former Miss America runner-up) who has opened for acts like Garth Brooks and Willie Nelson. She says “Cross and Light” transcends to all faiths and non-believers alike.

The musical is appropriate for children ages 10 and up with adult supervision.

The five shows run Feb. 23-25 with afternoon and evening times on Saturday and Sunday at St. Malachy Catholic Church, 9833 E. County Rd. 750 N., Brownsburg.

Tickets for general seating are $20. Preferred seating is $40. $80 for VIP.  Group discounts are available.
