The State of Indiana has opened up COVID-19 vaccination appointments for Hoosiers age 65 and older.

Previously, the vaccine was only available to those age 70 and older, health care workers and first responders.

As of Feb. 1, more than 562,000 Indiana residents had received at least the first dose of the two-dose vaccine, with nearly 144,000 people fully vaccinated. In Hamilton County, nearly 35,000 people have received at least a first dose of the vaccine.
