A quick stop at Cabin Coffee for a pound of freshly ground coffee turned into a delightful lunch by the fireplace.
The Cabin Club signature sandwich was piled high with ham, turkey, crisp bacon, monterey jack on toasted marble rye. I paired it with a hot bowl of parmesan, sausage and kale soup. The flavors of both were delicious, especially the soup.
The cinnamon roll with a cup of hot joe was perfect to sip and savor on a cold, snowy day.

WHERE I DINE
Where do you like to dine?
During Devour Indy, I always try at least one new restaurant. This weekend it was Hyde Park Prime Steakhouse.
What do you like there?
I had the wedge salad, filet mignon with whipped garlic potatoes and onion straws and flourless chocolate torte. Upon the server’s suggestion, we also added the roasted brussels sprouts with bacon jam. They were to die for, and you can share with everyone at the table, if you want.
What do you like about this place?
The service was impeccable.
