By Nicole Palmer

Brownsburg anglers Dylan May and Adam Troyer finished second at the Bassmaster High School National Championship Oct. 24. During the three-day tournament, the team brought in more than 12 pounds of fish each day. The Indiana arm of the competition believes they finished higher than any other team from the Hoosier state.

Earlier this summer both members of the Brownsburg High School fishing team placed ninth in the BASS Indiana State Tournament.

Troyer is a freshman at Indiana University, and May is a junior at Brownsburg High School. The Bulldogs have 20 students on the team. There were a total of 247 fishing teams from across the country and more than 30 states represented at the national tournament.
