Diana and Hall Virgil have been awarded the Indiana Parks and Recreation Association Distinguished Citizen Award for their dedication to the B & O trail. The couple’s vision and years of hard work transformed the abandoned railway into the popular multi-use trail. Diana is currently president of the trail association and Hall is a member-at-large. This year, there are plans to continue to expand the trail, add an adjacent equestrian trail, and a dog park in Brownsburg.
