AN OPTION: Montrose Alpaca Farm

By Faith Toole

AN OPTION

Lori Lovely invited me to join a Vegan Demo Cooking and Dinner at her home, Montrose Alpaca Farm in Brownsburg. An opportunity to visit her alpacas and dinner, I said yes!

We were guided through wellness, how changes in lifestyle can improve overall quality of life with healthier eating. The menu: raspberry agave spritzer, napa cabbage tacos with walnut meat, happy mouth quinoa salad and pineapple pizza. My first true vegan dinner was delicious and filling. My favorite were the tacos.

Next fun event will be Aug.

WHERE I DINE

Corey Cook, Coatesville

Where do you like to dine?

Bridges Craft Pizza and Wine Bar in Greencastle.

What do you like there?

They have so many pizzas to choose from. My favorite is the Funghi, mushrooms and balsamic glaze.

They make their own crust, which is phenomenal. I like the ribeye with blue cheese and garlic butter. The garlic butter is torched at the table.

What do you like about this place?

Main dining and wine bar dining, but the rooftop dining with herb wall is my personal choice with nice weather. Their service is incredible.
